We’re excited to announce our merger with OmniUpdate, the provider of OU Campus®—a leading web content management system (CMS) for higher education.
What does the move mean for you—our customers?
Well, Destiny Solutions’ focus has always been on helping non-traditional divisions of colleges and universities deliver a customer experience that matches the high expectations of a discerning learner demographic. With Destiny One, we accomplish this in a number of ways, including a leading eCommerce experience, the highest levels of data security, and automations that allow staff to focus on serving learners effectively.
Through our merger with OmniUpdate, our commitment to creating an elite customer experience grows even further. Our customers will now have unique opportunities to develop and enhance their websites to attract and convert even more learners!
Here are five benefits our institutional partners will receive as a result of this merger:1. End-to-End Support
You now have a partner offering higher education’s first cloud-based, end-to-end student digital engagement platform—all available from one company. Together, we can take you from top of the funnel marketing (prospective students visiting a college website) through to enrollment, payment processing, course selection, student engagement, badges and certificates, and so on.2. Incredible Capability At Your Fingertips
There’s no need to shop multiple companies and multiple products. You have the most innovative and comprehensive suite of digital marketing solutions in the higher education market at your fingertips—all backed by superior customer service. These include, but are not limited to:
- Website Content Management
- Online Course and Faculty Profile Management
- Email and Social Media Marketing
- Blog and Calendar Management
- Web Accessibility Compliance
- Student Lifecycle Management
- Curriculum Management
- Payment Processing
- Non-Credit and Credit-Bearing Certification Granting
- Real-Time Reporting
- Business Intelligence
You now join a network of 100,000+ higher education professionals from more than 450 college and university customers using Destiny Solutions and OmniUpdate products daily. Your access to intellectual capital has just increased—not to mention your professional network!4. Expanded Capacity to Serve the Full Student Lifecycle
Through this merger, you now have access to products designed to grow enrollments of both non-traditional and traditional learners. Enrollment growth is a key metric for most colleges and universities today. And in a market where the traditional student population is shrinking, you need efficient systems to attract and enroll both traditional and non-traditional students—especially in coming years as education evolves to address the crises of skilled labor and affordability.5. Peace of Mind
You gain peace of mind knowing that the Destiny One product will stay the course. The product roadmap—including the exciting product opportunities fueled by the investment from Riverside Company last year—will continue to be communicated on an ongoing basis to you and all our customers. Over the coming months, we'll be reviewing ways that we might bring the Destiny One and OU Campus products together to create value for our customers.
“We are delighted to join forces with OmniUpdate,” said Peter DeVries, President and COO of Destiny Solutions. “OmniUpdate has built higher education’s leading web content management solution and has an unparalleled reputation for innovation and customer support.
