Destiny launches new time-saving student self-service tools

May 13, 2005

Toronto, Ontario, -- Destiny Solutions Inc., a provider of enterprise technology to the Continuing Education Industry, today announced the release of several new online student self-service features in the Destiny OneCETM platform.

These new automated workflow processes for withdrawals, transfers, transcript orders & certificate requests replace traditional paper-based methods, reducing costs by dramatically improving processing time for the school, and providing schedule flexibility and faster turnaround time for the student.

Now, from within the student portal, withdrawals and transfers only take a few clicks. School business rules, policies and fees are enforced but may be overridden by staff if required. Similarly, ordering transcripts and certificates has always been a slow, paper-based process. Leveraging the OneCE e-commerce engine, students can now purchase these items online. Fulfillment is fully automated so processing times are reduced and paperwork and re-keying student information is eliminated.

“Ongoing enhancements to our Destiny OneCE platform demonstrate our commitment to improving efficiencies for our and our schools’ customers. Staff save time processing routine tasks while students spend less time completing paperwork and waiting for responses from the school” says Shaul Kuper, CEO of Destiny solutions.
