Skills & Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a quantifiable record of success in marketing, with a demonstrated ability to meet goals and expectations. This candidate will also be an excellent communicator in oral and written formats. He/she will have proven problem-solving capabilities with a high proficiency in a variety of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
Top candidates must have:
- 3 – 5 years of proven marketing experience in a technology environment
- Demonstrated experience in driving online events, lead generation programs, and integrated campaigns
- Experience with CRM systems and marketing automation tools
- Proficient organization, self-motivated, analytical, outstanding attention to detail
- Excellent leadership and communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally and fit into culture
- Ability to drive results and initiatives in a fast-past environment
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Positive references
Other beneficial experience would include:
- Previous exposure to marketing to the higher education industry
- Knowledge of WordPress an asset
Responsibilities
The Marketing Communications Co-ordinator will manage a wide range of marketing processes and projects, including a range of administrative and marketing support duties related to the daily operations of the marketing department. Executing a wide variety of details that involve direct mail, email broadcast and web site-based campaigns, outbound calls, marketing trade shows and events, public relations, customer communications, media advertisements, promotions, and other marketing related activities.
Primary responsibilities include:
Develop and execute the field events plan
- Own the 3rd party conferences plan and execution, delivering on event goals
- Lead any Destiny Solutions-branded corporate field events such as executive seminars
Develop from scratch the company’s webinar program
- Plan topics, secure speakers, produce content as needed
- Develop targeted messaging and invitations, webinar follow up communications, and lead tracking in CRM system
- Identify appropriate web conferencing platform. Later, evaluate 3rd party webinar opportunities with key associations and publications
Work closely with CMO on special projects such as newsletter and integrated campaigns, assuming an increasingly larger role
